COMMUNICANTS CLASS

If your child has expressed a desire to participate in the Lord's Supper in Sunday worship, a communicants class will be held on Saturday, March 21 rom 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

"Communicant” comes from a Latin word that means “to share with.” It’s been used for centuries to describe those who share the Lord’s Supper together. Children of covenant members are considered "non-communing" members (they don't participate in the Lord's Supper) until they own and profess faith in Jesus. The purpose of the communicants class is to assist parents in leading their children through this ownership of faith and to prepare them for covenant membership in the church.

Because we desire to equip you as the parent to be the primary spiritual leader in the life of your child, we ask that at least one parent accompany the child to the class. The class will take place in the lower level of our worship facility.

You can sign up for the class using the form below, or at the Connect Table in the lobby.
