WHEN AND WHERE

Our weekly worship gathering takes place on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at the Ursuline Performing Arts Center, located across from the Cool Spring Park. In addition to street parking, there is a parking lot next to the building. You will see our "City Church Gathers Here" sign at the entrance of the lot as you approach from Van Buren Street.

WHAT TO EXPECT

When you arrive, you will be welcomed by a greeter and given a worship guide. The environment is informal, and the dress style is casual. As you are waiting for the service to begin, help yourself to coffee or to the free resources in the lobby.

The worship guide is a resource that walks us through the service. The order of worship is designed to tell God's Story by moving us through the main acts of the biblical narrative: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Renewal. The goal in all of this is for us to rehearse the drama of redemption and celebrate who Jesus is and what he has done for us.

A typical service includes singing, prayer, confession, an offering, the reading and teaching of Scripture, and the Lord's Supper (communion). We strive to make what we do comprehensible to everyone, regardless of church background. We offer a children's ministry called City Church Kids. Our musical style is eclectic.
