STRATEGIC PRAYER

The strategic prayer focus for Oct. 14-Oct. 27 is on our second strategy, which is to prioritize the flourishing of the city. We summarize it like this...

Because we are a church for the city, not just in the city (Jeremiah 29:7), we will contribute more of our time, treasure, and talent to cultivating shalom in Wilmington.

The goals that correspond with this strategy are as follows:

1. Relaunch the FORWILM campaign as a platform to mobilize more people to invest in Wilmington for the common good.
2. Follow the lead of our diaconal ministry team to meet needs in the city through mercy, justice, and community outreach

PRAY in light of this strategy and these goals. PRAY for City Church to be fruitful in seeking the welfare of Wilmington in our next season of ministry.
